As a Milonga DJ since 2016. In a milonga, the DJ is considered to be like neurons or muscle-spindles and believes that diverse and immediate two-way
communication with the dancers must occur at all times. 90% are standard numbers from the Golden Age, 10% are old guard, 1960s and modern orchestras, and a clever mix of tanda is played to suit the situation.

Jean-Michel

Hong Kong

Jean-Michel, also known by some in Hong Kong as “DJ M”, is a modern day milonguero. He has been dancing for more than 20 years and DJing for more than 15 years, at his own milonga in Singapore and in various milongas and festivals across Asia. As a Tango DJ, DJ M has a simple philosophy: "To make you dance, like there's no tomorrow, through all the moods and emotions of Tango".

Ian Shao

Taipei

As a Milonga DJ since 2013, Ian is most interested in finding the jewels in Golden age music. "Golden Age Music is the very foundation of our contemporary tango" He says, "If the milonga is the bone and flash of the Argentina tango, then golden age music is the very heart and soul.” Ian adds, ” There is no perfect tanda, but there is a perfect moment in the milonga. I improvise the music to channel the energy of the dance floor and let that perfect moment to come."

Korea

DJ Seethrough has been dancing Argentina Tango since 2000, and DJ-ing since 2011.
She DJs regularly at Onada and many other milongas in Seoul and other cities as well as numerous international events and master shows in the region. She is classical DJ plays warm and passionate music.

Seoul

A popular tanguero and professional DJ, who lives in Seoul. He has a collection of more than 1000 tango CDs which accumulated over 15 years mostly from Buenos Aires and has the Tango Tunes connoisseur badge decorates tango music lovers who constantly are on the hunt for the best transfer.
